Cuando

Cuando cosas esta malas

yo recuerdo todas sobre muerte;

la muerte de mis personas,

la gente de direccion,

los jovenes de ideas,

los ninos del futuros...

Espero por el mundo

escucho a ideas...

Yo vivo.

Roughly translated:
When things are bad
I remember about the death;
the death of my people,
the people with purpose,
the youth of ideas,
children of the future ...
I hear the thoughts ...
I live.

The Great Gatsby, I Damn You!

The Great Gatsby, I Damn You!

At first I enjoyed you, clever old fool.
In the beginning you seemed believably true.
Now I damn your participants for being so sly.

and certainly your Jay for being a lie,
I curse your dear Daisy for creating such fuss.
I am sickened by Tom because of his lust.
Myrtle you met a fate you deserved,
as your misters heart was fatally heard,
and Jordon for riding the shirt tails of this clan.
Wolfsheim, Klipspringer-your almost one man!
There is one in the library comparing how real,
and Nick is excluded because he can feel.
Get out! Get out! Good riddance to you;
(I have more important things to do.)
hence, I must say good-byes,
to a boy like a badger with those dragon eyes.

The Blow

The blow
I felt from the simple word
rang in my mind then reverbed
through my soul.
I had relished the reading.
I felt the words creep off the page
twirling and encircling
until I became witness
to the dimness
of the room
as disturbance commences.
I was touched by a bird;
merely within the written word.
How dare she say
a word so simple
to a thought
creating a ripple
in the mind of someone
hung on every word
that bloomed.

Nature of Whether

Nature of Whether

As the dew drips
from the wilted petals
I am reminded of a visited place.
A time perhaps
of happiness and joys,
the thrill of each day,
the traffic of elation
as ventures began
and giggles pursue.
I was a part of this place,
more than a visitor.
The matriarchal leader then,
the healer of wounds,
the cleanser of woes;
I have since witnessed
the drought of a heart
In a place I once knew.
Did I build the dam
And dried it all up
or is time the culprit
of lifely ruin.
The clouds overhead
predict the rain.
The sky has fallen dark
and dismal is near.
I will weather the storm;
and as it blows past,
I will get down to the business
of what will last.
